How Moku plans your training

Moku is an AI endurance coaching app. It uses the goals and constraints you share, your recorded training and your calendar to create workouts and respond to changes.

The information behind a plan

Goals and Coach memories
Your event, race date, experience, available days, equipment and preferences help define the plan. Lasting details can be saved as Coach memories, which you can review and correct in Settings.
Completed and planned training
Recent activities, training volume and available training-load estimates give the coach context. Planning also uses existing calendar entries and your training phase, such as base building or race preparation.
What you tell the coach
Recent conversations and requested changes inform planning. Tell Moku when your availability, goals or health constraints change; a workout recording cannot describe your whole situation.

Three ways your plan develops

  1. Start with a conversation. Share your event, current training and available time. The coach uses these details to create your initial workouts.
  2. Build the next week. Automatic weekly planning uses updated context to create the next week when the setting is enabled and your trial or paid subscription is active.
  3. Ask for changes. In chat, request a different day, duration or session. The coach has tools to edit the calendar. Review the result, especially when a change affects several days.

A completed or missed workout does not mean every future session is automatically rebuilt. Read an example of requesting a schedule change.

Strava and workout feedback

Connect Strava to import completed activities. Distance, duration, heart rate and power are available only when the source recording and Strava provide them. You can also log workouts yourself.

Completed key workouts synced through Strava can trigger an AI review in chat during your trial or paid subscription, with notifications depending on your settings. You can also ask the coach to review a workout.

Direct Garmin sync is not available. Use Strava if your device can upload activities there. Do not assume that sleep or heart-rate variability data from a wearable is automatically shared with Moku.

What Moku cannot promise

  • AI can misunderstand a request or produce an unsuitable workout. Check the plan and correct missing or outdated information.
  • Training-load and performance estimates depend on the data available. They do not prove your readiness or guarantee a race result.
  • Moku cannot examine you, diagnose an injury or clear you to return to sport. Get advice from a qualified clinician for pain, illness or injury, and share their restrictions with the coach.
  • This page explains the product. It is not a clinical validation study or a claim that Moku outperforms a human coach.
