  • Steve, Tyne Triathlon Club

Raced 2019 · Participant race report

    Tone: Mixed

A repeat full-triathlon finisher describes weeds and a kayak navigation issue, rolling bike roads and a mixed-surface run in sunny conditions. He enjoyed a personal best and planned to return; fatigue after another race is personal, not evidence that the course causes injury.

  • Steve Grocock, LincsQuad

Raced 2011 · Participant race report

    Tone: Mixed

A participating club writer describes shared heat, fatigue and enthusiastic support, with named teammates’ difficulties including a lost chip, crash and missed turn. The original 2011 indexed article credits Steve Grocock; the migrated mirror credits LincsQuad Admin. The third-person Grocock anecdote is not assumed to be a first-person confession.
