Cade Terrill
Ultra
The runner found the rainy, muddy trails and hills demanding. He describes uncertainty finding the way during the early laps and continuing with encouragement from his companion. His report presents a difficult but enjoyable personal challenge.
A historical firsthand running report published June 11, 2025; the race edition is not explicitly dated in the speech. The runner describes 49 miles at the race finish and wanting extra distance afterward, so the video title is not treated as proof of an official 50-mile result. The account does not establish current weather, route marking, or course conditions. Read from the original automatic speech captions, with uncertain figures and personal health details omitted. No numerical rating is assigned.

Kool Vibz found the runners’ persistence into the evening inspiring and appreciated the people cheering along the course and around the finish area.
Perspective: event staff; this affiliated account is not an independent participant review. A complete retrospective by a business that says it served at the Freedom Backyard Ultra Marathon at The Freedom 13 camp in Bourbon, Missouri. Its event affiliation is explicit; this is an onsite support perspective, not an independent athlete review. The raced edition, specific duties and payment arrangements are unstated. Its appreciation of the cheering and runners does not establish every participant’s experience, current services or a running finish.

Dave Darcy · 2024
Event context · see format details
Dave Darcy valued the encouragement between hikers, quiet nighttime laps, support from fellow participants and the feeling of shared achievement when he finished.
This organizer-selected first-person account describes the June 2024 Mohawk Mountain event. Darcy does not state his distance, so it supplies spring-series context rather than a verified Olympus Mons finish. The same account is attached to the legacy Olympus Mons listing and the spring-series listing, which the official registration link connects; it is one account, not two independent sources.

Robert "Cowboy" Bishton · 2009
Marathon
Robert praised the logistics of the historic Bear Lake double. For the Idaho race, he described a challenging final uphill stretch after following the north side of the lake.
A 2009 full-marathon self-log for the Idaho race in the Bear Lake series. The row’s city field is inconsistent with its state, but the race label and narrative explicitly identify the Idaho finish. This old point-to-point route and management should not be assumed to describe today’s race. His praise covers that historical double.
