David (Goal-Oriented Runner) · 2024
David found coastal headwinds and the late bridge climbs demanding, and one aid stop lacked prepared cups. Running with another marathoner made the effort rewarding; he enjoyed the finish barbecue and social atmosphere.
Reported format: Marathon42.2km(26.2mi); shorter-distance event context.

The recovering runner walked the West half and enjoyed the setting, encouragement and large after-party. They found the inclines manageable and liked the soft shirt and substantial medal.
One runner's 2026 half-marathon review on RaceRaves, labeled Half Marathon. Current courses and services may differ; this account does not establish a consensus or a numerical rating. This is the walker-friendly West Half Marathon, rather than the event's separate competitive East Half Marathon.
