The 10 km runner praised the organization, enthusiastic student volunteers and quality of the shirt and medal. They enjoyed rolling paved paths beside Lake Mead and felt the chilly, breezy start became pleasant once the sun appeared. The separate park-entry charge was an unwelcome expense.
