    Klaus Sobirey · 2018

Klaus loved the illuminated palace-area start, plentiful aid and extensive finish buffet. Long highway out-and-backs were quiet and offered little sightseeing, while heat and humidity slowed him. Later half-marathon runners squeezed the available space, and chaotic bag retrieval took about 45 minutes.

    Source context and limitations

A Marathon4you contributor’s 2018 full-marathon account, combined with a regional holiday. This is the separate Bangkok Midnight Marathon; its old course, merged fields and bag-collection problems are historical.
