The writer praised plentiful drinks, friendly volunteers, bicycle marshals and traffic control. Long exposed stretches became hot and monotonous. Missing distance signs were frustrating, and personal GPS suggested extra distance, though that does not establish an official measurement. They finished happy after a relaxed, photograph-filled run.
