    Klaus Klein · 2014

Klaus loved the desert mountain and canyon scenery and praised clear marking, frequent water and friendly helpers. Loose sand, gravel and climbs demanded effort, and exposed heat made his later kilometres difficult. He finished exhausted but happy and regarded the event as well organized.

    Source context and limitations

A Marathon4you contributor’s account of the inaugural 2014 full marathon. This was a desert trail race; its terrain, route, aid and heat observations are historical, not assurances about the current edition.
