Kip Burdette, interviewed by Clay Reynolds (The Courier Herald) · 2025
Burdette was pleased with his first marathon despite missing his three-hour goal. He started quickly and found the final part harder to sustain, but regarded the overall experience as a success and valued his family’s encouragement at the finish.
Source context and limitations
A newspaper-selected interview about Burdette’s first full marathon in March 2025. It offers a personal reaction to his performance and finish, rather than a detailed review of course marking, aid or organization. The article mainly concerns his training and coaching career; no race-organizer role is stated. His Boston hopes are not treated as a qualification or entry guarantee, and no later course continuity is assumed.
