    Charisa Wernick · 2016

Charisa enjoyed running among the giant redwoods but switched from the full to the half after seeing the course and severe weather forecast. She appreciated the flexibility and was relieved to have finished before a heavy downpour. Even the half felt harder after an initially comfortable opening.

    Source context and limitations

Other-distance context from Charisa Wernick’s 2016 half marathon after switching from the full. The storm and pacing were edition-specific. The blog has sports-brand and athlete links, but no complimentary race entry is stated. Her full-course expectations do not establish a full-marathon experience.
