Gysel Parajon, published by Maniacs Fanatics Madness · 2026

Gysel loved the scenic descent from Shasta Dam and the Sacramento River setting. Seeing other runners on the out-and-back sections added companionship. She slowed and walked briefly late in the race, but enjoyed finishing at Sundial Bridge and thanked the volunteers.

    Source context and limitations

A 2026 full-marathon account curated and published by the Marathon Maniacs, Half Fanatics and Ultra Madness club blog. Gysel is a member of those running communities. Personal fatigue followed a busy racing period. The historical account does not confirm unchanged current services or course details.
