Marc (Atomic Time Addiction) · 2007
During the 2007 Boogie 50-miler, Marc found the return climb up Bethel Hill to the church mentally taxing: the pleasant descent outward had to be regained on the way back.
Source context and limitations
Perspective: course preview outside the race; race-day execution is not established. Historical shared-climb context from a different event, the June 2007 Bethel Hill Moonlight Boogie 50-miler. The current January Mangum Marathon also names the Bethel Church climb, but this account does not review its full route, race management, aid or present road condition. Repeated ultra laps and June nighttime weather do not describe the current marathon. Marc thanks the Mangum Track Club community; no sponsored entry is disclosed.
