    Darren Sorgenfrei · 2022

Darren appreciated frequent water stations but found the repeated out-and-back route monotonous. The field was smaller than he expected, and he preferred an earlier local course and venue.

    Source context and limitations

A 2022 full-marathon self-log from Grand Haven, Michigan. Route repetition and field size are one runner’s impressions; the current course may differ. His comparison with an older Oktoberfest event is a personal preference. His letter grade has not been converted into a numerical rating.
