Dave and Kathy (Dave’n’Kathy’s Vagabond Blog) · 2021
During their June 2021 ride around Promised Land Lake, Dave and Kathy found North Shore Road well maintained and explored lakeside viewpoints and stream inlets. They continued along Park Avenue near Conservation Island.
Source context and limitations
Perspective: course preview outside the race; race-day execution is not established. Historical outside-race cycling context on the North Shore Road and Park Avenue portions around Promised Land Lake shared with the currently linked course map. This June 2021 ride is not a marathon review and does not assess the whole repeated course, race services or present pavement. The route map was last updated in 2021 and remains linked by current organizer pages; that does not confirm every future edition will use it. Separate island hiking and other detours are excluded. No organizer affiliation is stated.
