Brian Johnson · 2020
Johnson valued the veterans' cause and praised his teammates and the staff. He found the trail beautiful but sometimes monotonous. Reaching Deadwood felt satisfying after four demanding days, though the final mile seemed long.
Source context and limitations
Other-format event context from a 2020 four-day, 110-mile endurance march. Johnson also entered the final 26.2-mile marathon, but the appraisal is shaped by the preceding stages. Published by his Marathon Maniacs club. Support for the staged event is not evidence of standalone marathon services today.
