Terry Jones (John A. Lejeune Lodge)

Terry described opening the lodge so walkers, runners and supporters could take a break from a particularly warm day. He was glad the lodge could support the event and offer a welcoming place to cool off.

    Source context and limitations

Perspective: race volunteer; this is not a finisher review. A local support-host account published in the lodge’s October 2024 newsletter, not an athlete review or independent assessment. Terry writes on behalf of the lodge about its own assistance. The exact race year is unknown: the column calls it the second annual event, while the current listing’s edition count does not resolve that date. Warmth concerns that historical occasion; present weather, participant comfort and current facilities are not established. No completed distance or numerical rating is claimed.
