    Source context and limitations

A 2016 full-marathon report under the public pseudonym bwcaguy. A running-club friend provided free lodging and food, and the author knew the race director; these personal ties are disclosed. He had run another marathon the prior week, affecting fatigue. Historical route details may differ today.
