Robyn Ross
Robyn enjoyed the quiet, pine-shaded stretches of Lake Bastrop’s North-South Trailway and the softer footing under fallen pine needles.
Source context and limitations
Perspective: course preview outside the race; race-day execution is not established. Historical outside-race course-preview context from a March hike described in an April 2023 travel feature. The current Autumn Harvest 50K description explicitly uses the same North-South Trailway between Lake Bastrop South Shore and North Shore parks. Her outing skipped the first thousand feet and added dam and Buzzard Point detours. Only observations on shared main-trail stretches are used; the detours, her total hiking distance, race participation, services and current conditions are not established. This is the same underlying account also shown for Lost Pines, rather than an additional independent reviewer.
