On Eagle Lake Park’s southern natural outer loop, the walker behind Dead Last Finisher says the setting is not especially spectacular but enjoys getting off pavement and into the trees.
Source context and limitations
Perspective: course preview outside the race; race-day execution is not established. Outside-race walking context from a video published February 3, 2025; the actual visit date and year are unknown. Only the natural southern perimeter stretch described around 6:40–7:03 is used. The current race covers that perimeter, but no exact shared distance or assessment of every part of its lap is claimed. Interior boardwalks and geocache paths are excluded. The account does not review this marathon, race-day markings, services or current conditions. One original account is reused for two seasonal listings.
