Jennifer Clark · 2026
Clark praised the advance communication, heat precautions and finish-line ice cream. She found the concrete paths much hillier than the elevation chart suggested and encountered some confusing course marking, but thought the inaugural race showed promise.
Source context and limitations
A half-marathon runner’s account of the inaugural September 2026 festival, retained as context for the event. Clark did not claim to run the full marathon. The club anthology credits member social posts; her original version was not separately read, and selection or editing is unknown. Her hills, concrete and marking observations concern her half-marathon route, and future courses or services may change.
