The runner found Moosehead's hills much harder than expected, but praised bib pickup, aid-station placement and volunteers. Support from friends and volunteers helped them complete a difficult first marathon, and they wanted to return better prepared.
Source context and limitations
Historical full-marathon feedback from the same Moosehead event, carried across an explicit organizer registration bridge. The race year in the runner’s text is unconfirmed. This is the same account retained for the older registration, not an independent source or a 2027 finisher review. The next edition is June 2027 and its course and services may differ.
