Bobby Bell (Blackhorse Association board/marketing representative) · 2025
Bobby Bell reports that a government shutdown complicated planning for the 2025 event. He describes the family donation that covered the post-race barbecue and praises the serving Troopers and volunteers who helped the event happen.
Source context and limitations
Community opinion; participation and firsthand experience are not established. Organizer-affiliated operational reflection on the 2025 mixed-distance event. Bell was a Blackhorse Association board and marketing representative present that weekend; his account is not independent athlete satisfaction and does not establish that he ran. The planning difficulty, barbecue funding and praise for support staff concern that edition, without assessing any current course, distance-specific services or runner performance.
