The writer enjoyed the riverfront scenery while walking east from Dean Road through Jay Blanchard Park. The central area was busy enough that photographing the surroundings without including other visitors took care.
Source context and limitations
Perspective: course preview outside the race; race-day execution is not established. Historical outside-race walking context for the riverfront J. Blanchard Trail section inside Jay Blanchard Park, east of Dean Road, shared with the currently linked course maps. The walk described in February 2019 continued farther east to Rouse Road. It does not assess the race’s longer southern and western extension, repeated laps, aid or organization. Present crowds and conditions may differ. No organizer affiliation is stated.
