  TM · 2019

TM liked Birmingham and the start, finish and post-race venue, but found the marathon's hills and heat draining. A small full-marathon field also made stretches feel lonely.

  Source context and limitations

A 2019 full-marathon review by TM on commercial site FindMyMarathon. It describes a former Birmingham course. The 2026 organizer describes a loop course in Hoover, so the old hills and venue assessment must not be treated as current. No affiliation is stated.
