  DEO · 2025

DEO found the scenery exceptional and praised staff and volunteers, but sand and climbs made the course demanding. A steep sandy hill disrupted the planned six-hour pacing, and the runner would have preferred an earlier start to avoid the warmth.

  Source context and limitations

A 2025 full-marathon account from public Marathon Maniacs self-log author DEO, who was pacing for Beast Pacing. Pacer affiliation is disclosed; compensation or gifted entry is not established. The runner's GPS short-distance remark is not a course measurement finding. Historical heat and service observations may differ at later editions.
