Keith Laverty · 2019
Laverty enjoyed the mountain views, demanding climbs and fast descents. He found his route well marked and praised the first-year organization, while noting strenuous power-hiking and a discrepancy between advertised podium prizes and those awarded.
Source context and limitations
A July 2019 account of the former advertised 25 km race, published by a coach on his coaching platform. It describes a shorter historical course, not a marathon finish or the present route. His prize comments reflect a podium finisher’s experience; reports about other runners getting lost are not independently verified.
