    Vanessa Junkin · 2024

Junkin found the flat rural-road half marathon well suited to steady pacing and enjoyed company on the shared opening section. Strong headwinds made carrying her pace sign difficult. One early water stop lacked cups, but otherwise her experience went smoothly.

    Source context and limitations

A November 2024 half-marathon account from a Beast Pacing team member, whose role was to guide the three-hour group. It covers that shorter course and shared opening miles, not the full marathon’s extra section. Wind and the cup shortage describe one edition; her pacing affiliation is explicit.
