  Coach Lora Erickson

Lora enjoyed the changing scenery and praised clear mile markings, shuttles, photography and organizers checking on runners. Mud, persistent headwinds and cold made the inaugural race demanding. She was pleased with her age-group result despite lingering fatigue from an Ironman two weeks earlier.

  Source context and limitations

An undated account of the inaugural full marathon by a coach promoting training services on her blog. She raced Ironman Texas two weeks earlier. The race year is not established in the article body, and current routes and services may differ.
