Brian Pautzke · 2024
Pautzke enjoyed the community atmosphere and running alongside newcomers on his local trails. The out-and-back let runners see one another, while late hills made the final section demanding. Receiving a medal from his own students made finishing particularly meaningful.
Source context and limitations
A 2024 trail-marathon report by a local teacher who had participated every year and was also a race committee member. Published as a contributor article in Turnagain News. These community and organizational ties affect the perspective. Route direction and river-crossing plans can change; this is historical experience, not a current safety or distance certification claim.
