What racers say

  • Alice — selected historical 10 km Open experience ↗

    Alice, organizer-selected testimonial

Alice describes enjoying the 10 km Open with a friend, finding it challenging but manageable and laughing their way around. She praises the Alpha team’s encouragement and wants to return.

Complete original organizer-selected quote read on the current homepage and in the actual May 2024 original homepage capture; it counts once, not as two reviews. Both pages identify ALPHA Challenge at Dublin Bay, but her exact raced year/day, historical physical site, independently measured distance, attendance/finish verification and funding are unstated. Her 10 km Open entry is her claim; obstacle completion and whether assistance/penalties were used are unknown. Positive selection and abbreviated identity limit independence. Historical event-family context only, not a 2026 assessment or an ALPHA Adventure review. No numerical score supplied; the Fit Collective gym/company aggregate is a different rated subject.

ALPHA Challenge
  • The current organizer and federation advertise 5 December 2026 at Dublin Bay, Wānaka. Walls, carries, climbs, crawls and monkey bars establish actual OCR; no exact 2026 obstacle count or independently measured route is verified.
  • Competitive 5/10 km entries are timed, unaided and subject to individual obstacle penalties. Open entries are untimed, allow assistance and allow shared penalties. Group entry does not itself create a Challenge team competition.
  • The separately named four-person ALPHA Adventure navigation/obstacle programme has its own listing. Mini, school and adaptive categories are not additional adult distances; functional fitness stations alone do not establish another OCR.
  • The same Alice quote is present in the original May 2024 homepage capture advertising Dublin Bay. Her exact raced year, day and physical site remain unstated; it is selected historical event-family context, not a 2026-course review. Stale/contradictory prices and refund copy are not treated as current logistics.
