- Åmål municipality’s original June 2026 announcement identifies the inaugural Boxen race on 8 August during Åmålskalaset and names the organizers. It describes two laps through central streets, parks and Kungsberget, approximately 4.5 kilometres in total. The per-lap estimate is approximate; the exact adult start gate remains unverified.
- Competition requires completing obstacles and is decided by finish order; Run4Fun allows bypassing obstacles. No timing is supplied. Separate short children’s races do not become adult distances.
- Organizer quotations are promotion, not independent participant reviews. This is separate from the Säffle race, and no future edition or athlete overall is verified.
