  • X-Runners erfolgreich beim Braveheart Battle in Steinach ↗

    X-Runners club · 2024

The club enjoys a demanding Steinach outing through hills, cold water and changeable weather. Most choose the Rookie course; Frank runs the longer Original in 1:58:29. Their account emphasizes teamwork and terrain as well as obstacles.

Complete collective participant report posted 28 March 2024, explicitly describing Saturday 23 March. Most entrants ran the nominal 10 km, while Frank ran the 20 km. One runner’s wrong turn/extra distance and forgotten bib are personal context, not proof of organizer fault. One containing club account, not a review per named runner; no overall score.

  • The organizer announces 20 March 2027 at 10:00, with 10 km Rookie and 20 km Original courses. Entry is from age 16; swimming ability is required. Its five-hour limit and route remain subject to weather and course changes.
  • Steinach has hosted the event since the 2019 move from the Rhön. The directory’s 4.3/5 from seven cards includes 2017/2018 experiences at the earlier venue, so that mixed-location average is withheld here. Historical course distances and ascent do not establish the 2027 route.
