What racers say

  • Gianluca Fini — the original 2016 construction-course team outing ↗

Gianluca Fini, interviewed by Katleen De Beukeleer in EUSE KAPPI · 2016

Fini describes teammates motivating one another on a difficult water-and-hill course and says racing as a team is enjoyable. The report recalls cold water, repeated climbs and the group’s attachment to its local community.

Complete relevant interview, byline and December 2016 footer visually read on physical PDF page 6, printed pages 10–11. It concerns the inaugural 30 October construction-site course. Actual entered running distance is unstated; a fitness-tracker floors comparison is not surveyed ascent. One local publication and a named quoted athlete, not three independent reviews. The team wears its neighborhood association’s logo; entry funding is unstated. This is not evidence about the later city course or 2027 arrangements.

  • Organizer-selected opinion — the city water-and-obstacle challenge ↗

Anonymous finishers quoted by Grieder Sport

The organizer quotes finishers comparing the challenge favorably with Engelberg and enjoying the distinctive combination of water obstacles and a city setting.

Complete relevant original quoted text on the retained 2026 organizer programme read. Organizer-selected anonymous attributed opinion, with actual raced year, distance, attendance, identities, funding and independent-athlete count unverified. It is not a verified 2026 or 2027 finisher sample or a numerical score. The comparison is the quoted opinion, not an independently tested difficulty equivalence.

  • Organizer-selected finish comments — 2026 Baden atmosphere and organization ↗

Anonymous finishers selected by Grieder Sport / Philipp Strebel · 2026

The organizer’s completed-event report quotes finishers praising the atmosphere, organization and city setting. Its own account describes water obstacles, a cliffhanger and the demanding climb toward Ruine Stein.

Complete relevant original 24 August 2026 report read. The quoted brief opinions are organizer-selected and anonymous; actual individual classes, identities, funding and independence are unknown. The organizer’s prose and child-programme statistics are not extra athlete reviews or independent safety findings. One containing source, with possible overlap with its undated selected programme quote; no numerical average is inferred.

  • The organizer’s complete 24 August 2026 report explicitly announces Sunday 12 September 2027. That takes precedence over the directory’s unconfirmed August prediction. The next edition’s final classes, route, start times and obstacle inventory are not yet verified; the displayed 5/10 km classes are explicitly the 2026 programme.
  • The 2026 original route uses Oberstadtstrasse, the Aue, Terrassenbad, Limmat and Ruine Stein. Mellingerstrasse 1 is the shop/contact address, not an independently verified current starting line. Separate children’s classes are not adult OCR listings.
  • The original organizer interview traces the 2016–2018 Baustellen-Strongman to City-Strongman after the construction site ended in 2019, and later City StrongWoMan. Its inconsistent older weekday/year wording is not used to date an edition. The native historical grouping spans a 2018 and a 2023 posting; neither date verifies the raced edition or an unchanged future course.
