  • Dubai 2015 — new obstacles and an early wave ↗

EatDrinkTrainRepeat (blog identity; writer unnamed) · 2015

The writer feels more capable on the new course and obstacles at their second Dubai Desert Warrior Challenge and would return. Their early wave appears to avoid queues and the worst heat; they like the new dog-tag medal and describe the otherwise similar race pack.

Complete original 9 November 2015 first-person post read. It describes the second Dubai edition at a new location close to Outlet Mall, matched to the contemporary Al Rawia programme with residual property uncertainty. The writer does not state their own distance, exact race day or finish. Publication date is not raced date, and this is 2015 event context rather than a review of the later 20 km Extreme course. Writer identity, entry funding, measured distance and independence are unverified. The linked GoPro video was not watched or transcribed; photographs are not reused. The archive duplicates this same permalink, not a second account. Anticipated Spartan participation supplies no Spartan review.

  • The original company announcement identifies 21 October 2016 at the Land District / Dubai Police Training Facility beside Dubai Outlet Mall. The original contemporary Sport360 report calls it Al Rawia Training Fields / Dubai Police Academy and describes ropes, bars, rings, water and the quarter pipe. Exact mapped start and measured lengths are unverified.
  • The 2016 programme includes 5 km Fearless, 10 km Ultimate and a new 20 km Extreme course. Junior 1–2 km is not an extra adult family. Historical source times conflict and are not used as current start guidance. No upcoming edition or unchanged present-day route is established.
  • A contemporary 2015 programme explicitly names Al Rawia. The 2015 participant account describes the second Dubai edition at a new site close to Outlet Mall; its assignment to this family is a location/edition match with residual property uncertainty. It is not an account of the earlier 2014 Jebel Ali resort course or proof of the 2016 layout.
