How to read these ratingsAthlete feedback and reports
- Hang-On Run Doorn — 8 km recreational, 25 November 2017 ↗
Justin Boonkamp · 2017
Boonkamp enjoys the 8 km outing and finishes in 1:18. He praises shuttle transport, finds the opening running sections long and the later obstacles better distributed, and criticizes the unpleasant toilet smell.
Complete signed one-page adult participant report visually read at physical page 26 / printed 24 of De Bikkel season 2017–2018 issue 4. The Saturday, year, recreational format and actual 8 km are explicit. This is historical Doorn main-race experience, not the 2026 Sprint or an Amerongen race. Club publication; no numerical score or compensation disclosure. Other newsletter reports are not counted from its contents page.
- Doorn 2018 — recreational and KSR accounts ↗
Kim Essen and Marijn Wissekerke · 2018
Essen overcomes a fall and a difficult obstacle on a second try to finish her recreational race with her bracelet for the first time. Wissekerke enjoys varied KSR obstacles and forest surroundings, but dislikes being told only at the end of the flying monkey bars that his technique requires a restart. He finishes in 1:17.
Both complete signed reports visually read at physical pages 19–20 / printed 17–18 of De Bikkel season 2018–2019 issue 3. They describe the 2018 Doorn weekend; exact race days and Essen’s distance are unstated. Wissekerke identifies KSR but does not state kilometers. Count this containing PDF once for this family, not as two independent source URLs. Same club publisher as the 2017 report. No numerical score; no course continuity with the future Amerongen location.
- Hang-On Run Doorn — Sunday 13 km and 8 km, 25 November 2018 ↗
Justin Szanto and Jesse van Oort · 2018
Szanto enjoys the 13 km scenery, arm-strength obstacles and volunteers, but wants harder recreational tasks. Van Oort finds the new Sunday 8 km option less demanding than advertised, with clustered obstacles and cold water, while enjoying its unusual obstacles and enthusiastic volunteers.
Complete original two-section first-person club article, published 26 November 2018. Justin signs 13 km and Jesse signs 8 km; the publishing account is Justin. The latter is their actual Sunday Special label, conflicting with the retained homepage’s 7 km listing. Count the containing article once. Recommended is textual; A1/T2 describe difficulty. Finish times and complete obstacle performance are unstated. Cold-water temperature is the writer’s recollection, not a verified measurement. Historical Doorn only; no numerical overall score.
- The original retained programme describes the annual multi-day race, separately from the 31 October 2026 Sprint Sponsor Run. The federation calendar and police sports invitation identify the 22–23 November 2025 Doorn weekend. No future full annual race date is established.
- The organizer says it must leave this venue and rebuild in Amerongen. This is the historical Doorn programme; no Amerongen race or transfer of Doorn opinions is inferred. The 2018 homepage says 7 km for one Sunday option while two actual participant accounts describe an 8 km Sunday Special. Their distances remain explicit.
- The homepage prints an average of 4.9 but gives no scale, denominator, edition or programme scope. Its two selected quotations also lack those details. Neither that number nor an external business-directory score is imported as a verified race rating.
