  • SMTL teachers — historical Roshchinsky team interview ↗

Kristina Samoylova interviewing five named SMTL adult teachers · 2016

The teachers describe a demanding but enjoyable team outing, with carrying, crawling, water and climbing obstacles. They praise the camaraderie and organization; one also criticizes the closed start area and difficulty finding water before running. Teammates and an instructor helped, and only three team members were said to clear the final inclined obstacle.

November 2016 school newspaper, issue 2 of 2016/2017, pages 6–8 and 10. Student interviewer Kristina Samoylova quotes adult teachers Dmitry Matkov, Igor Minaev, Sergey Selichev, Mikhail Shutko and Boris Yudin. They describe the ordinary 20 August 2016 Roshchinsky 8 km team wave and explicitly did not enter the next day’s qualifier. Teammates and an instructor assisted, and some obstacles were bypassed; reaching the finish does not establish an all-obstacle completion. Their reported 14th of 107 and approximate times are race results. One institution-published interview, with entry funding unstated; future winter intentions are not a winter race review.

  • Historical Roshchinsky course only. The school’s own November 2016 newspaper identifies the tank training ground, an 8 km team obstacle course and its adult teachers’ participation on 20 August 2016. They explicitly did not enter the next day’s qualifying competition. The date and distance here describe that ordinary team outing, not the qualifier or a future edition.
  • The municipality separately reports a 26 August qualifier with 8 km and 26 obstacles, but its entry does not state a year; it is not assigned to the school’s date. The participating employer’s 2024 report describes 7.5 km and 31 obstacles. These differing historical programmes are not combined into one unchanged route.
  • A June 2025 press article attributes the relocation to Asset Arena to the project’s Igor Kaktysh and credits NIASam. Roshchinsky remains separate from the current Samara/Asset Arena record. No future Roshchinsky race, numerical satisfaction score or current course is verified.
