What racers say

  • Patrick Hage — inaugural 20 October 2019 Harz club account ↗

Harzer Schwimmverein 2002; club reporter about Patrick Hage · 2019

The club calls the inaugural event successful and describes Patrick’s demanding eight-kilometre outing from Cattenstedt through Vogelherd, Luisenburg and Ziegenkopf, with climbing, crawling and carrying obstacles.

Complete original club narrative and conclusion read, posted 25 October 2019 and explicitly raced 20 October 2019 in the 8 km class from the Cattenstedt sport ground. The writer is not verified as Patrick or as a participant. One collective account, with entry funding and selection independence unknown. Reported obstacle count, race progress, placing and time are not independent measurements, all-obstacle verification or satisfaction scores. Generic health claims and media are excluded. Historical eight-kilometre context, not the changed 2025 course.

  • Team Fire — 17 October 2021 Harz eight-kilometre account ↗

    Jeannette Fischer / Feuerwehrverein Gernrode/Harz e.V. · 2021

The fire-service team reports a strenuous eight-kilometre outing with walls, tunnels, tyres and mud. It reaches the finish exhausted, muddy and satisfied, already talking about returning the next year.

Complete original reader letter on physical and printed page 41 of Quedlinburg’s 24 November 2021 municipal newsletter read in extracted text and the rendered original page; the cover was also visually read. It explicitly dates the third Harz event to 17 October 2021 and names the 8 km Sprint around Cattenstedt. Nine crew members form one collective source; the writer’s own participation and independent identities/finishes are unverified. The club says it offered more than moral support, without specifying the form or amount; paid entry fees are not asserted. Medical details, other PDF pages and imagery are excluded. No numerical score, verified every-obstacle completion or changed-2025-route assessment.

  • SV Lok — 30 August 2025 Harz club report ↗

    S. Herbst and M. Heede / SV Lok Blankenburg athletics · 2025

The club describes a demanding course in pleasant temperatures and says shared enjoyment was its five members’ focus. It distinguishes the seven- and twelve-kilometre routes between Cattenstedt, Luisenburg and Ziegenkopf.

Complete original short club report and conclusion read, published 1 September 2025 and explicitly raced 30 August 2025. Simone Herbst’s 12 km participation is identified; the other members’ exact distances and the authors’ personal participation are unverified. This is limited collective experience context, not a claim that every member expressed satisfaction. Team numbers, placements and finish totals are not numerical ratings or all-obstacle proof. Entry funding, independent identity and selection independence are unknown. One containing page counts once; generic toughest-race wording and medical/media content are not adopted.

  • The actual original 2025 programme advertises 30 August at the Cattenstedt sport ground, with 7 km Sprint and 12 km Expert; the longer course is expressly no longer a repeated loop. An original club report independently dates the completed event to 30 August 2025. Stale legal copy elsewhere gives inconsistent weekdays/dates and is not adopted.
  • The Family Cross is four kilometres with one child and one parent; separate Bambini and Junior runs are not adult main classes. Oberndorfstraße 19 / Ecke Trift is advertised navigation information, not an independently surveyed start coordinate. Clan/team classification does not establish a relay. Obstacle icons are not a verified count, and placements do not prove every obstacle was completed.
  • Older 2019/2021 accounts and the 4.5/5 native card describe historical context, while the 2022 organizer programme used 8/16 km loops. Those distances and opinions do not assess an unchanged 2025 course. The current old Harz domain is a placeholder, and no future edition is verified. One collective page counts once regardless of teammates; the fire-service club reports support beyond moral encouragement without specifying its amount or form.
