Reports and event feedback

  • Selected 2020 participants — an enjoyable new format, with a hard surface ↗

郭志瑋, 譚思朗 and an unnamed Mr Lam, interviewed by Macao Daily · 2020

The interviewees enjoy the new format and shared participation. They find rope obstacles demanding, want a stronger challenge and suggest more varied surfaces instead of an all-concrete course.

Selected voices in one original 2 November 2020 article. Individual exact classes, entry funding and obstacle clearance are not fully established. These are attributed experiences, including criticism; athletic results and personal physiological explanations do not supply a rating.

  • Selected 2021 participants — new obstacles, burpees and a first-time challenge ↗

郭志瑋 and 蒙嘉麗, interviewed by Macau Sports Weekly · 2021

The returning participant welcomes harder, longer or taller obstacles and the chance for regular exercisers to meet. He describes a failed wall obstacle and burpees; the first-time participant values challenging herself.

One containing original publication, with organizer interests and selected winner interviews. The returning athlete is also quoted in 2020 and is not a new independent person across editions. Exact race day and the first-time participant’s precise distance are unstated. Reported results, health explanations and clean obstacle completion are not independently verified.

Series
Macau Obstacle Racing Challenge
  • The original programme identifies 1 November 2020 at the East Asian Games Dome and nearby roads. Challenge is approximately four kilometres with heats/final; Fun is approximately 3.2 kilometres and explicitly untimed. Its awards-table language does not turn Fun into a timed race.
  • The 2021 report identifies a return to the same venue, with additional indoor obstacles and different heats/final obstacle counts. It is not evidence that the 2020 route or difficulty stayed unchanged. The exact 2021 day is unresolved here.
  • The later Hac Sa Beach and 2026 Outdoor Performance Venue courses are separate properties. The contemporary 2020 report describes thirteen obstacles; performance times and selected winners are not satisfaction scores.
  • No later edition is verified by these sources. Published programme distances are nominal; no measured replacement or numerical satisfaction rating is inferred.
