• The organizer confirms 11 January 2026 at Knockhill, with an 11:00 mass start and three separate single-loop routes. The original registration listing corroborates nominal 8/15/21 km and minimum age 17; the directory’s older 7/15 km labels do not override this programme.
• The organizer’s race-morning weather update explicitly removes the competitive element and timing because of icy conditions. That dated amendment takes precedence over the same page’s retained general chip-timing, qualification and trophy instructions. Final obstacle removals, measured completed lengths and audited conditions remain unknown.
• This past programme does not establish a future Winter date. The separate current Really Muddy Aberdeen and Fife/Kinross programmes are not winter Knockhill aliases. Wendy Brothers describes her own 2024 15 km; Linda Johnson’s complete account gives no year or chosen distance. Their cold-water, support and obstacle experiences do not assess the amended 2026 route.
