Mud Masters Norddeutschland — Luhmühlen (historical)

Athlete feedback and reports

• Luhmühlen 2016 — three contrasting native participant reviews ↗

Tamara, Jan and Jakob on Trophy Runners · 2016

Opinions range from a wish to return to a firm refusal. Tamara enjoyed the marathon but criticizes contradictory route instructions; Jan dislikes the obstacles, atmosphere, warm-up and refreshments. Jakob praises the woodland setting, creative obstacles, check-in and short queues, while wanting better showers and another aid station.

Native Trophy Runners 3.0/5 from three complete cards, read in the actual 28 April 2025 original-page archive capture after the live page returned 404. All three explicitly report participation in 2016: Tamara describes a nominal marathon, Jakob 18 km, and Jan leaves the entered distance unstated. The displayed three-, one- and five-star cards and five-point aggregate were checked in the rendered original. Native aggregate retained without calculating a replacement. Exact posting dates, raced days, measured distances, full obstacle completion, reviewer identities and independent-athlete count remain unverified. These historical opinions do not assess the separate advertised September 2023 programme or any future course; the platform’s 2025 event date is not primary-confirmed here. One containing native section, not three source URLs; Jakob’s companion’s shorter race and photographs are not additional reviews.

• The actual original organizer capture announces 9 September 2023 at Himmel und Heide in Westergellersen, with 6/12/16/42 km options and a separate Family Edition. It explicitly recalls events here in 2016, 2017 and 2022. These are historical advertised programmes; no future edition or permanent closure is inferred.
• The current German organizer calendar lists Airport Weeze but no new Luhmühlen programme. The platform’s September 2025 date is not independently primary-confirmed here and is not used as the listing date.
• All three native reviews explicitly concern 2016. They describe historical 18 km and nominal marathon outings or leave the entered distance unstated. Their experiences do not assess the different advertised 2023 distances or any future course; precise raced days, measured course length and full obstacle completion remain unverified.
