OCR World Championships — Stratton (historical)

What racers say

• Leon Kofoed — September 2021 short course ↗

  Leon Kofoed · 2021

Praises the festival community and succession of rigs, enjoys the race despite the demanding climb and descent, and thanks volunteers and organizers.

Original explicitly dates 24–26 September 2021 in Vermont; original championship history verifies Stratton. The participant deliberately descended cautiously and competed while returning from injury; no rehabilitation advice or safety finding is adopted. Professional athlete and coach; promotes his own programmes/Patreon. Entry and travel funding are unstated unless separately disclosed. Repeated accounts by this author are not independent athletes. No numerical score is inferred from the narrative.

• Leon Kofoed — distinct Stratton narrative, edition unresolved ↗

  Leon Kofoed

Enjoys the technical rigs and festival atmosphere, describes the downhill as intimidating, and is proud of the effort and pleased with both team relays.

URL and publication 30 September 2022 conflict with an internal 24–26 September 2021 heading and a closing reference to looking forward to 2022. It is a distinct account, but the raced edition is not resolved from publication alone. Retained as historical Stratton context across the organizer-confirmed 2021/2022 venue period. Repeated similar community praise is not independent-athlete evidence. Professional athlete and coach; promotes his own programmes/Patreon. Entry and travel funding are unstated unless separately disclosed. Repeated accounts by this author are not independent athletes. No numerical score is inferred from the narrative.

• Libbie Joyce — short historical Stratton comparison ↗

  Libbie Joyce

Briefly says she loved Stratton but found the mountain running more draining than expected and failed an obstacle on the long course.

One full original 2024 Mammoth report contains this short retrospective. “Last year” references conflict with explicit learning from 2022; historical Stratton edition is unresolved. Exact age unknown; the author reports a junior 13–19 category at Mammoth and this comparison is not an adult-only independent report. Nutrition-brand hosted with product promotion/support; funding otherwise unknown. One containing URL shared with the separate Mammoth context, not another independent athlete. No numerical score is inferred from the narrative.

• The organizer history verifies Stratton Mountain in 2021 and 2022. Leon’s first report explicitly dates 24–26 September 2021. The later report’s URL and publication say 2022 but its heading says September 2021 and its ending anticipates 2022. It contains a distinct race narrative; its exact edition remains unresolved and is not corrected from inference.
• Repeated praise by the same professional athlete and short retrospective praise from a junior athlete are not independent adult-athlete counts or a numerical score. The 2022 history also inconsistently labels an obstacle debut as 2023; no exact obstacle-introduction year is adopted. Historical venue family. No present operation, future date, unchanged route or event-specific numerical rating on a stated scale is established. Organizer retrospectives and finishing positions are not satisfaction scores.
