  Uwe enjoys the natural obstacles, steep slopes and friendly small-event atmosphere, describing queues, heat and a finish. Traffic delays his arrival, but the later wave lets him complete the outing before leaving to teach fitness classes.

The host club’s original 2016 report independently verifies the venue and historical 10/20 km formats. The 20 km class is explicitly from 2016, not a guarantee of every later edition.
• Historical programme only. The current organizer calendar does not include Augsburg, and the old detail URL returns 404. The platform says the event was not held in 2019; no current date or exact permanent-retirement date is inferred. The archived 2018 organizer warns that changing and warm showers are unavailable; this is historical logistics.
