The original participant and onsite coach independently identify Numinbah Valley. The precise entrance remains unverified.
• The parent describes the shorter family/youth outing originally published in August 2018, not the adult nine-kilometre race. Her December 2022 republication and March 2026 update are separate dates. A later claim that the final race weekend was 14–15 March 2026 and that insurance caused closure has not been independently confirmed, so permanent retirement is not asserted.
