External published rating · 4 total, 4 visible reviews in the checked source.

All four cards read, posted in 2017–2018. One 2018 writer explicitly ran the former 18 km course; another enjoys the obstacles despite heat. Two cards contain only scores. These mixed-distance historical opinions do not evaluate the 7 km-only 2027 programme, and repeated Guest aliases do not establish independent athletes.

Source checked 2026-10-26. This is the source’s published rating, not a Moku editorial score. The average may use reviews beyond the visible cards.

  • Historical Rock the Race participant comments ↗

    HDsports contributors

An 18 km participant criticizes value, queues after merging with 7 km runners, repeated obstacle counting and exposed finish showers. Another 2018 comment enjoys the obstacles despite the heat. Two other cards give only scores.

  • Rock Race Würzburg — 4 August 2019 ↗

    Paul Schäfer-Dominski, posted by Gerhard · 2019

Schäfer-Dominski reports completing the former 18 km course in 2:06. He describes heat, cool harbor water and repeated cramps, while attributing difficulty to his own lack of running preparation. He is pleased to improve on his earlier time.

Complete original signed first-person club report posted 5 September 2019 and titled 4 August 2019. The linked results URL says 2018 and is not used to redetermine his race year. His stated 18 km/30 obstacles are historical, not the 2027 7 km programme. No overall score or entry-compensation disclosure.

  • The organizer confirms Sunday 25 July 2027, the Viehmarktplatz and a 7 km main obstacle race. It explicitly withdraws the longer 15 km option for 2027. The separate Saturday 3 km course for children aged 4–14 is not an adult programme.
  • Rock the Work is company/team ranking on the same 7 km course, not another event family. Exact main-course minimum age is not established here. Historical reviews of the former 18 km race do not assess the shortened 2027 programme.
