How to read these ratingsAthlete feedback and reports
- De Knipe — ONK LSR, 25 May 2025 ↗
Bram Romkema, posted by Maarten Postema · 2025
Romkema finishes the two-lap LSR with his bracelet in 4:18:01 after struggling with exhausting combinations, recovering his rhythm and enjoying kayaking and later obstacles. Queues provide rest but interrupt progress; his father and coach supply encouragement, food and arm massages.
Complete original first-person club report credited to Bram Romkema, posted under Maarten Postema’s account on 27 May 2025. Actual 25 May 2025 / LSR is explicit, but total kilometers are unstated. His prior-year lost bracelet and unfinished race are retrospective context, not this finish or an extra independently read review. Club/coaching support and filming disclosed; no numerical satisfaction score or compensation information. This historical race does not override the 2026 cancellation.
- De Knipe — 7 km recreational, 2016 ↗
Lotte Wijbrands · 2016
Wijbrands starts confidently but becomes frustrated after repeated failed attempts to get over a beam. She surrenders her bracelet, accepts that more attempts would not help and sets a goal to return better prepared. Her family follows to support her.
Complete original first-person blog permalink read after its category index. Actual 7 km recreational and age 21 are explicit. Publication is 7 June 2016; the 19 November 2020 update is not the raced year. Exact race day, completion of the remaining route and official time are unstated. Companions’ successes are not extra reviews. No numerical score or compensation disclosure; historical programme only.
- De Knipe — three historical adult accounts, May 2017 ↗
Juriën Entius, Robbert Westhoven and Loretta McCambell · 2017
Entius enjoys winning after a hard, hot race but twice loses the route after kayaking. Westhoven enjoys his MSR battle with a clubmate and a roughly 1:47 finish, returning to the water to correct his exit route. McCambell enjoys KSR scenery, atmosphere and water posts but dislikes tightly tensioned hanging obstacles.
All three complete signed adult reports visually read at physical/printed pages 33–35. Westhoven explicitly names MSR on 28 May 2017; McCambell KSR on 27 May, with year from issue/photo context. Entius does not state exact day, class or total kilometers. The byline spells McCambell; a surname expansion is not invented. Distances and complete bracelet status are unstated in these narratives. Same SSV club/containing PDF already used for Dronten: count once for this family and once as a distinct URL globally. McCambell had previewed the training ground on a trainers’ course; Westhoven signs a trainer’s tip. No numerical overall score or compensation information.
- De Knipe — pairs account, 3 June 2018 ↗
Theo Jong · 2018
Jong enjoys the varied pairs course and close contest with friends, but finds long queues frustrating, including a twelve-minute wait at one combination. He capsizes while attempting a kayak swingover and continues swimming, then finishes fifth with Ebbel after a hard final effort.
Complete original signed first-person report visually read at physical pages 31–32 / printed 29–30. Actual 3 June 2018 / pairs is explicit, but chosen distance, exact time and complete bracelet status are unstated. The companions are not separate independently read sources. Queue timing is the writer’s recollection and championship-priority interpretation, not a current wait forecast. Club publication, compensation unknown; no numerical satisfaction rating.
- The organizer confirms there was no 2026 event. The last individually verified weekend is 24–25 May 2025: Saturday has recreational 5 km light/heavy and parent-child categories alongside youth; Sunday has recreational 7 km solo/pairs, 12 km pairs, BSR and ONK LSR. Exact 2025 LSR/BSR lengths and per-category ages remain unconfirmed. Separate school days and dedicated youth competitions are excluded.
- The federation proposes 5–6 June 2027, but the original organizer says future plans will be announced later. No confirmed restart is inferred. The older 2017 KSR/MSR and 2018 pair/LSR reports retain their actual historical programmes, rather than becoming promised future options.
- Official result positions and the organizer/federation championship recaps are factual sources, not athlete ratings. Participant reports below distinguish bracelet finishes, surrendered bracelets, unknown complete finishes, queues, support and actual distances.
