    The three Italian participants enjoy the technical challenge, natural setting, friendly judges and help from other runners. All finish the 13 km route happily, while only Dario retains his bracelet; Simone and Rossella surrender theirs.

    Schiphof enjoys his first 8 km outing with a friend and the supportive atmosphere among participants and volunteers. Obstacles grow more technical and exhausting; after three tries on short ropes, he surrenders his bracelet but still looks back on a rewarding experience.

His planned future Leeuwarden race is not a completed review of that event. Club instruction/affiliation is explicit, compensation unknown.
