  • Kootstertille — 11 km recreational, 10 March 2019 ↗

    Rob Rooijakkers · 2019

Rooijakkers enjoys varied, demanding obstacles and supportive Frisian-speaking volunteers during a cold, snowy return to racing. He surrenders his bracelet at the first obstacle, continues the remaining route and hopes to return better prepared.

Complete original signed first-person federation report published 17 March 2019, explicitly identifying 10 March and actual 11 km recreational mid-course. Retained bracelet or complete obstacle performance must not be inferred; exact official finish/time is unstated. Historical weather and programme are separate from the 2027 announcement. Federation selection and long break in preparation are explicit; no numerical score or compensation information.

  • The organizer confirms 14 March 2027 and an 8 km team run for four federation members, using the hard 8 km route with assistance possible/required at some obstacles. Competition needs the relevant licence or registration. Dedicated youth and school-only divisions are excluded.
  • The 2027 page announces recreational classes without listing every distance. The last completed 2026 results explicitly distinguish 11 km recreational, hard and light 8 km, and open 5 km Fun Run from age 8. Those are historical programme context, not a promise that every option returns. The organizer-linked detailed entry page returns 404.
  • The complete 2019 11 km participant report describes surrendering a bracelet at the first obstacle and continuing. Historical cold and snow are personal observations, not a future weather forecast.
