  • Neede — 15 km middle course, 2018 ↗

    oomkoen · 2018

The runner enjoys a woodland outing with clubmates despite limited preparation. Halfway through the 15 km / 51-obstacle course, he surrenders his bracelet without retrying a combination, then completes much of the remaining course and is glad he took part.

Complete original short first-person blog permalink, published 21 October 2018 and updated 9 January 2019. The raced year follows the original publication/context; exact day, class, official finish and time are unstated. Actual described 15 km is not relabeled as today’s 14 km. Anonymous handle retained rather than an invented full name; club companionship explicit, compensation unknown. No numerical score or perfect obstacle-completion claim.

  • The organizer and registration confirm 18 October 2026, actual 7/14 km recreational courses and licensed LSR/MSR/KSR. The mid-course also has a four-person group category. Dedicated youth-only courses are excluded. Generic distance ranges on the category guidance page do not establish the exact competition lengths.
  • No current 21 km recreational course is inferred from the federation calendar. A historical participant explicitly describes 15 km and 51 obstacles in 2018; that remains the writer’s actual older course. A separate father’s youth-race observer report is not an adult participant review.
