What racers say

  • Reinhold Radloff — 29 July 2023 ten-kilometre self-test ↗

    Reinhold Radloff / Schwabmünchner Allgemeine · 2023

Reinhold finds the nets, walls and water demanding and is pleased to finish his ten-kilometre outing. He describes hesitating at a high net, appreciating the waterslide and slipping under the foam at the final obstacle.

Complete signed original newspaper self-test and conclusion read. The organizer’s original press index independently dates this fourth-edition Luitpoldpark outing to 29 July 2023; the article’s 31 July publication/30 July update is not the race date. Nominal 10 km/eighteen obstacles, reported finish and foam incident are the author’s historical account, not audited measurement, every-obstacle proof or an independently established safety finding. Reporter/employer affiliation and unknown entry funding remain explicit. Personal age, medical details, other athletes’ appearance, shoe advice and gallery/photos are excluded. No numerical score or 2027 route assessment.

  • The organizer homepage announces 10 July 2027 at Luitpoldpark and German OCR Championships. Its linked operational page still describes 11 July 2026, with Masters 6.7 km and Ultras/championship 10 km. These historical formats are not a confirmed 2027 route book.
  • Undated homepage cards say six kilometres for Masters, while the dated 7 June 2026 plan and schedule say 6.7. No exact future measurement or obstacle count is inferred from the conflicting copy. The two-kilometre Kids and 6.7 km junior championship are distinct from adult entries; historical eligibility and waves are not promised for 2027.
  • The 2026 early packet pickup at Siegmund Sportpark in Augsburg-Pfersee is not the race start. The native section is empty. Reinhold Radloff’s original 2023 nominal ten-kilometre participant self-test is historical written evidence, with reporter affiliation and unknown entry funding disclosed. The winter Silvesterlauf is a separately named event at the same park, not this summer race.
