Wauconda aquabike: well monitored, with weeds and bike hills ↗
John Lopez · 2026
The aquabike entrant praised the organization and monitoring of the bike course. He described weeds during the lake swim and hills on the bike, while attributing his own difficult swim and bike fall to himself.
Source context and limitations
2026 Wauconda sprint aquabike: swim and bike only, with no run or triathlon-finish claim. The review page lists July 25, while the organizer’s adult-race guide says July 26. This single athlete’s account does not resolve that date discrepancy or establish current conditions.
